Branding 101
One-to-One Coaching Workshop
Learn the process graphic designers use before they ever put pen to paper.
The truth about the process of branding couldn’t be simpler: It is the process of defining or refining your focus; who you are, what makes you different, and what unique value you offer. And it all starts with a process called brand discovery.
What is Brand Discovery?
If you ever built a house, you understand the importance of designing the structure or floor plan with an architect before laying the foundation. If you are an attorney, you understand the importance of doing some discovery about your client and case before presenting to a judge.
The same thought process goes into designing a logo, a website, a newsletter or a social media graphic. The list can go on and on. This process of discovery/strategy is what most designers do with their clients before they ever begin a project with a client. It is a key phase for creating your brand.
The goal is to assist you in discovering what you really want from your marketing efforts. During the discovery phase you will uncover your needs, challenges, and desired results, which you'll use to create an insightful, goal-oriented marketing plan.
“discover new possibilities, new ways to get bigger and better outcomes, and new opportunities”
Here's what you'll learn
What does your brand stand for? How do consumers feel about the brand? How well does it communicate those values?
The brand discovery process is crucial for maximizing the long-term success of your organization. This audit evaluates the brand image, communications, consumer perception, and competition. It gives purpose, defines personality, and delivers the promise through better branding. This process better aligns customer insights with business goals. The result is a successful individualized strategy to accelerate growth and strengthen loyalty. Here's what we'll cover in the 60-minute coaching workshop:
Answer questions
Start by asking questions that deconstruct and simplify your business goals and objectives.
Analyze the competition
Asking “Who are we?” is not enough. It is as important to know who “they” are, as well.
Reflect on customer data
Gain a better understanding of your audience, and how to better communicate with them.
Discover your brand identity
Establish a unique and differentiated presence in the market. What image does your company send?
Assess the sales process
A deeper understanding of the buyer’s journey can lead to a better customer experience and increased revenue.
Develop relationships
Identify shared goals and values with organizations that add value to brand awareness and lead generation.
Visualize the future
The discovery process begins anew each day as you continue to grow and needs to be able to adapt to change.
Incorporate the answers
Connect your answers to inspire successful design, marketing campaigns and creative advertising.
